Is Epic Direct going broke?

I’m an affiliate with Epic Direct, also known as Azoogleads.com and I noticed I hadn’t been paid in a while. I enquired about this with my affiliate manager and this is the response I got:

“To touch on the topic of payments, Epic Direct has been undergoing some key structural changes. We expect these changes to have an extremely positive long-term effect on the way our business is run, and more importantly the way we treat our publishers. As for your outstanding balance, our payments are being paid out manually at this time and I cannot give you an exact date as to when this will be released. We thank you for your patience as we get this sorted out. We truly value you as a publisher and want to secure a long-term relationship with you. In this spirit, depending on your payment threshold, it may be best for you to pause traffic until we can guarantee timely payments. On the other hand, if your business is flexible and can sustain under these conditions, then we would love to continue working with you.  We want your business to be mutually beneficial so I hope this email will help you make an informed decision. Regardless of what you decide, I hope that when our payments are normalized, that you will allow us the opportunity to make it up to you.”

What? Is this the corporate speak for we are going broke? Sounds like it is. Be careful when choosing affiliate networks.

It’s been a while

Ok the last time I posted we were talking about Clickbank.com a place where you can earn part time income. So the first step in choosing which product to support  in Clickbank is to determine the category you want to promote. I stress category as opposed to a specific product because products come and go but a category stays forever.

For example, if you choose the category weight loss you will find 50+ plus products in the Clickbank Marketplace that have weight loss solutions. If you choose the pregnancy category for couples trying to get pregnant there are several products that cover this as well.

So how do you pick a category? Simple, just go to clickbank.com and click the top link titled “Marketplace” and on the left you will see all of the categories listed.
